Stackable Surgical Guides
Stackable surgical guides provide a modular, stepwise approach to complex implant and full-arch cases, allowing clinicians to maintain precise alignment with a pre-designed prosthetic plan at every stage. These guides are designed to work together in sequence, improving accuracy, efficiency, and predictability for multi-implant or full-arch procedures.
Components of a Stackable Guide
1. Verification Guide
The verification guide sits over the existing dentition or bone after the soft tissue is flapped back. It ensures the bone reduction guide is seated in the correct orientation. An optional bite index can be included with the opposing arch for additional verification and proper guide positioning.
2. Bone Reduction Guide
Pinned into place with 3–4 anchor pins, the bone reduction guide allows for extraction of remaining teeth or bone reduction. It is customized to the clinician’s preferences and can be manufactured from PMMA, nano-ceramic, or metal, depending on strength requirements. Once secured, the verification guide is removed, and the planned bone modification is performed.
3. Surgical Guide
After bone reduction, the surgical guide is pinned into the bone reduction guide. It precisely guides each step of the osteotomy and implant placement. For cases with angled Multi-Unit abutments, timing references are incorporated to ensure proper seating according to the pre-planned prosthetic workflow.
4. Tissue Guide (Optional)
The tissue guide can be added at no additional cost and is particularly useful for cases with angled Multi-Unit abutments. It assists in accurate seating of the abutments, following the planned timing and ensuring the correct soft tissue emergence profile.
Key Advantages
Stepwise Accuracy – Each guide ensures precise implant placement throughout the procedure.
Prosthetic-Driven Planning – Aligns all surgical steps with the pre-designed restoration for optimal esthetics and function.
Supports Full-Arch Restorations – Compatible with lab-fabricated fixed or removable prostheses.
Efficiency & Confidence – Modular guides reduce chair time, minimize intraoperative adjustments, and provide predictable outcomes.
