At Digital Dental Solutions we offer a wide range of restorative solutions for dental implants. We can complete anything from single units to a full arch restoration. Every case is digitally designed for superior esthetics and optimal function. As with everything else we do communication is critical. We know that every patient is different and the desired outcome for the patient and your practice is different for every case. That is why we share our designs for your approval prior to moving forward to fabrication. In the digital world everything can be customized.
Single Unit and Small Edentulous Spans
All restorations are restored with OEM components. After years of scientific data we know that the success of the implant can be largely effected by the components that they are restored with. For this reason we always default to utilizing OEM components for every implant restoration. Aftermarket solutions are available upon request, but must be requested. Currently we restore implants on every major implant manufacturer. For specifics please call the lab.
There are many restorative options available for the fully edentulous patient. Each case is unique and requires a team of professionals discussing the overall intended outcome and restorative possibilities. If you are starting a new case, it is important to have a team at your side from the start with the surgical planning of the case so that we can be prepared for potential roadblocks and have a good idea of what can be achieved for the final result. If your in the middle of the case and implants have already been placed we are happy to consult with you to discuss options as well.
Full Arch Restorations
PMMA Restoration
We have partnered with Desktop Health for all of our printing technology. Desktop Health is the worlds leader in 3D printing technology. In 2022 Desktop Health launched their new Product Flexcera Ultra+. This is a revolutionary material which is 3x more fracture resistant than traditional denture materials. This helps during the healing phase or with long term temporary restorations.
Crystal Ultra is a revolutionary solution. The restoration is 60% lighter than Zirconia, but 6x stronger than acrylic. One of the main advantages of this solution is that it is easily repairable chairside with traditional composite systems intraorally. There is no need to remove the prosthesis and send it back to the lab for processing. The material is also about the same hardness as natural teeth leading to greater functionality and patient comfort.
Crystal Ultra
The new Nobel Nacera Implant Bridge is a zirconia bridge that can be used for a full arch or smaller edentulous spans on Nobel Biocare Implants. The bridge can be seated directly to Multi-Unit abutments or to the implant platform without the need for cementation utilizing metal components. Traditionally this has been one of the failure areas in full arch zirconia restorations. This solution also offers an additional 25 degree screw access correction in a 360 degree rotation allowing for the optimal placement of the screw access hole.
Nobel Nacera Implant Bridge
The Zirconia Implant Bridge can be fabricated using titanium inserts or direct to multi-unit abutments. For titanium inserts we utilize OEM components to ensure fit and accuracy. For options direct to multi-unit abutments we utilize the Powerball Screw technology. This option allows for connection directly to the multi-unit abutments with additional angle correction up to 30 degrees in a 360 degree rotation.
Zirconia Implant Bridge
The Bar Overdenture is a great solution for patients who need or desire to be able to remove the prosthesis on their own for cleansability purposes. This option gives the patient the sensation of having a fixed restoration with the ability to remove it on their own. It is important to have approximately 18mm of restorative space for this option. This is why it is important to have us consult with you and your team from the start with the surgical planning on the case.
The PMMA Hybrid is a new solution that has become available with the addition of 3D printing technology. For this solution we fabricate a titanium bar with PMMA wrapped around the bar. The PMMA is Flexcera Ultra+ which is 3x more fracture resistant then traditional lab processed acrylic. This significantly reduces the issue of sheering acrylic, which has traditionally been one of the problems with these types of restorations. The recommended restorative space for these restorations is 12-15mm.
